Kuro Neko
(b. 1989, Lviv, Ukraine) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, mural art, and tattooing. He studied at the Lviv College of Decorative and Fine Arts and later earned a degree in Scenography from the Kyiv National Academy of Fine Arts. Currently based in Southeast Asia, Kuro Neko draws on a diverse creative background, blending classical training with urban influences.

His current practice is rooted in painting, where he fuses the raw energy of graffiti and muralism with academic approaches to the human form. Deeply inspired by Japanese pop culture, particularly anime and manga, his work explores the tension between realism and abstraction—often layering anatomical studies with graphic, stylized motifs. The recurring themes in his work include identity, transformation, and cultural cross-pollination.

Kuro Neko's evolving visual language reflects both personal history and global artistic influences, bridging Eastern and Western aesthetics through a distinct and contemporary lens
